Before I go further let me say that I have searched google and these forums for help regarding this issue. People have posted very helpful responses and even guides however whatever I do I can not seem to get this to work.

All I want to do is use my domain (that I own) http://www.e-faction.com and forward a sub-domain such as itteamspeak.e-faction.com to allow people to connect to my server without using the IP address (Since mine is dynamic). Through the Cpanel (Cpanel Accelerated [New version I guess]) I have added itteamspeak.e-faction.com in the sub-domain entries. I then redirect the sub-domain to my IP address however when I try to connect to itteamspeak.e-faction.com in Team Speak I can not. I have tried redirecting the above sub-domain to all forms of the IP address I can think of:

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8767
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8767

Yes I am running on the default port so I should be able to leave the port out however I have tried connecting to itteamspeak.e-faction.com and itteamspeak.e-faction.com:8767.

Also
I have tried using the .no-ip.org approach and set up the hosts with groups and I still can not connect to my server using itteamspeak.no-ip.org (Same thing with the port number).

I can connect to my server with my external (WAN) IP so I know it is there and other people can connect to my server via my external IP.

When I need to reset my router it is just a pain to keep updating my members with my new IP address.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

*YOU* will not be able to connect to your own external address most likely. Unless you have your TS server hosted elsewhere in internet, not on your local hardware you're sitting in front of.
That's why http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/ is there - to help you debug your TS connection issues.
For updating yout name=IP binding, take a look into router settings. Most likely, it can support at least one Dynamic DNS service, if not both.

The thing is I can connect to my external IP address via the machine that the TS Server is hosted on. However I can not connect to the redirected sub-domain.

You was distracted by my first reference to typical setups.
What about your router? Or it is your PC that works as router at the same time? Then you have to install simple updater script as Cron task.
