redirect ip for 2 servers

for a year now i have had a server for my flight sim server Aeronet 24/7 witht he ip AN2447.hopto.org i have recently brought a dedicated server which runs teamspeak so now i have adopted the ip aeronet247.com is there away of redirecting people that use an247.hopto.org to the new aeronet247.com once the old server is closed down?

You tell them to stop using the old dns name or they will forever use the other one.

You can change the old dns name to be directed to the ip of the new server, but only do it for a temporary.

So you know how to do it now?

You just change the setting with your account with no-ip.

Yeah. Instead of it going to the old ip it should be directed to the new ip.

That is one of the major reasons that people use dns names instead of ip address.
