TeamSpeak-Server 2.0.23.19
Fedora 10 OS
Belkin54g router

Clients outside of my LAN can't connect to my server. Clients inside connect just fine. The TS connection test fails on everything. I've tried forwarding the necessary ports, setting up a DMZ, and turning off NAT. When I turned off the NAT I noticed my IP (172.xx.xx.xx) according to my system was still different than my WAN IP as given by whatismyip.com (216.xx.xx.xx). So is my ISP issuing me a different IP than the WAN IP and would that not allow people to connect to my server?

I went down the checklist found here: http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=37522

and it appears that my router just connects to a wider LAN. So if my router doesn't have real WAN access can I successfully run a TS server?

You just need to forward the ports.

www.portforward.com You modem might act as a router also. Also be sure to update TS.
