Cant hear my friends on my server

I have just bought my own server,everything works great but my friends cant talk. I can see there light by there name turn green but hear nothing. Is there a option i have missed, cause they can hear me fine????

It's not your settings, it's your friends have a setting wrong. Have them check their sounds and audio device properties. Make sure that microphone is selected in recording and muted in playback. Make sure that their microphone slider is up and if you have mic boost i'd use it. Also, if they have a headset, make sure that microphone isn't muted on the cord of the headset.

Also make sure that the channel is not moderated. Ask them to join another server to see if they have everything setup right or if it is just your server.
