I have set up a teamspeak server for me and my friends to use for social chat and some gaming.
I was thinking to make the people that use teamspeak for gaming to be registerd users and thoose that use it for social chat to be unregisterd.
So, the channels for gaming only registerd people shuld be able to join.

I tride to tick the box for "registerd" but unregisterd users still could join the channel and chat, tried to tick moderate, but the sam thing happends. Is there a way to prevent unregisterd users to join some of the channels?

Change the permission in the web admin. Something about going registered channels.

You can do that by going to the Server Permissions for Unregistered Users then making sure the box next to ChannelJoinRegisterred is NOT checked, that will keep everyone that is Unregistered in the Default channel, the channel properties like "Registered", and "Moderated" have to do with the channel itself and not who can join them.

Hope this helps, best advice would be to do what I do if I'm not sure of something, just change a few settings just to see what they do. :)

in the server ( or client better said ) registered means that the channel will not be deleted after everybody leaves it.
Moderated means that the CA has to give voice rights to people coming in the channel, otherwise they won't be able to talk.

Like mentioned before in the web administration you define what usergroup has what rights, and server ( client ) side has other meanings of registered.
