General Info
This is on a vista platform
I use the Vent program for World of Warcraft
DirectX 9.0
I am using Ventrilo 3.0.8

I have tried talking with Ventrilo, but since I am renting the server through TS I am unable to get a lot of help from them. I do not have my own server in house or anything, I am simply paying for the service through you guys for my guild.

My issue is that I had a huge brain fart and deleted my emails before I wrote down my admin password. I have my IP/Port/Password for the Vent but can not log in under admin

They were telling me to look for a ventsrv_ini file which I do not have. They then asked what company I was renting from, and said you guys should be able to help me. From what I have found in the search on these forums I should have a server.log file is that correct?

I have went under Start/Program Files/Ventrilo (I do not have a TS file) and from there I have a Docs folder with many files under it. Generally every time I click on one of those files it takes me to a TeamSpeak page with general admin info/vent info. How to log in, make channels ect.

Is there any way I can find my admin password in all of this? I am really not the smoothest person with computers, but I can follow a path name!

I have right clicked and opened about everything I can, but have not found a way to find this password yet.

TS = Teamspeak

Why on God's green earth would TS host Ventrilo servers?

Thank you for searching before posting. However, i don't think we will be able to help you as this is a teamspeak forum. If you rented from a place, likelihood is they are in the following list:
http://www.ventrilo.com/hosting.php?byctry=usa

That list contains the only "official" server hosters of vent for USA. When you figure out who is hosting your vent, just go there and talk with their support. They will be able to change the admin pass and what not for you.

My billing statement is from teamspeak, but it is a Ventrilo program so I have no clue.

This will prove to be interesting. I will look more into it and see what I can find.

If you don't mind, what is the ip of your vent?
