Hello, I'm new around here so i'm not exactly sure if i'm posting this in the right place, but, I'm aware to host a server I need to open port UDP 8767 if I'm behind a router. I'm aware that opening any port always has some risks but does opening a port to host a TS server have significant network security risks? Also, I don't really mean whether or not TS can get hacked, i'm more wondering if it is alot easier for a hacker to get into the actual L.A.N. network with the port open rather than closed. Thanks in advance and I apologize if this is in the wrong sub-forum.

no--it's not significant at all. Most "hackers" are 'script kiddies'. I don't think you'll have any more problems then you do now. You'll be fine.
