take a chill pill, go have some fun, and when your ready and calm, come back to read the rest of my post

For the remainder of this post i will operate under the assumption that you have a router.

Problem:

i am having ALOT of trouble getting other people to connect to my server

Possible solution:

I dont have time to read the novel that is portforward.com.

They include pictures which may make it appear long, but it's not. If you don't know how to forward your ports with your router, and you don't want to learn how, then i can be of no further assistance. Use portforward.com (or any other tutorial site that you may find) and when you have your ports forwarded correctly and it still doesn't work, i can then look into it further. But since you say you don't want to, my only advice is to use a public TS and create your own channel.

yes i do have a router but since my main computer broke i just plug my laptop directly to my modem instead of router because i get faster speeds that way

what i wanted to know is can you set up TS server without a router? if not i will go forward some ports

Yes you can. You might still need to forward port though depending on your modem. In most cases you should be fine setting up firewall exceptions and running the firewall.

You this to test.
http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/?page=step1

If it fails after you have configured your firewall then you might need to forward ports on your modem.

So you do not need to forward ports if you are not using your router. Save for firewall exceptions everything should just work when you run TS.
