hi all,
im trying to setup my TS server lately.
ive run it b4 with my manual dial-up modem(its very old hyundai model, and she just killed by lightning strike :/ last year.)

now i got a D-link router, it seems i can get TS port running behind this router.
im already setup 8767 UDP port and 14534 TCP 51234 TCP on the NAT page.

but the Teamspeak "Your IP's" still dont have any WAN IP.

is theres something wrong with my router setup?
tracert timed out after the first 2 IPs only ;(

search forums.

There shouldn't be any wan on the system tray. (newest version of TS)
If you want to find out what your WAN is then go to www.whatismyip.com

However, that is quite a bit of available information you typed up. Thank you. These types of posts are very helpful when trying to find the problem. More info the better. Nice compiling.

pls one thing clean up the portforward table on urs router. even trhu its weird that it allowed to redirect one WAN port to 2 IPs (remove records TS )
second thing u dont need all TS ports in there ... 8767/UDP is enought
so in sum remove last 5 rows in Virtual Servers page

in yours case I agree. >>

use http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/ or someone else from internet for testing

EDIT umm whats behind Security link on that webinterface ? router/modem FireWall ?
as for tracert its simple from what I see it looks like yours ISP blocks them .... I mean it reach yours Internet provider router and then nothing.

oh it will not list the WAN IP on tray? (its been long time seen i used ny TS2 server last year, i remember that it listed it ) nvm then.

im trying to pull up all the information i can to solve the problem faster XD

ok i tried what u said removed 5 rows, now it gets better.
now http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com test with "OK" on the UDP part, but TCP and HTTP with errors
and still unable to connect via WAN IP :(

heres the test result:
Performing UDP test...
» Establish a connection with the server OK
» Verify that it is a TeamSpeak 2 server OK
» Perform connection handshake OK
» Retreive a list of active channels OK

Performing TCP test...
» Establish a connection with the server ERROR 1
» Verify that it is a TeamSpeak 2 server ERROR 1
» Retreive the servers global information ERROR 1

Performing HTTP test...
» Establish a connection with the server ERROR 1
» Verify that it is a TeamSpeak 2 server ERROR 1
» Retreive the servers version information ERROR 1

u mean the security tab in my router web interface? it just some ip filters i think (i never use that anyway) check the attachment for the security tab info.

You're ok. Everyone should be able to connect to your TS server.

u see before u propably used modem connected with USB or somehow urs PC have got the network interface with WAN IP.... thats why.

now http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com test with "OK" on the UDP part, but TCP and HTTP with errors

well in security matter of TeamSpeak to connect via clients and communicate UDP port is enought.
if u wanna admin it remotely with telnet or HTTPwebadmin interface add them in Virtual Server, but if u ask me it will just bring u bigger security risk.
and even if u was using that 2 featues by default they r not crypted(pass sended as text during login) so with bad luck someone could get hands on urs pass...
