I have 2 network cards in my server and want to run TS2 on the 2nd network card, is this configurable somewhere?

I was able to bound to my 2nd IP address... however when looking for TeamSpeak Channels in the Web Server List, it doesn't list the IP that Teamspeak is bound to.. It lists the other IP address for the 2nd nic in my system..
What I have to do is disable the 2nd nic.. Then refresh IPS with teamspeak, then it finds the first one, then I reinable the 2nd one and then people see the correct IP address to connect to in the Web Server List..
IS there an easier way to do this?
I'm using Windows2000 server with two nic cards each on their own iP address.. I was thinking (but don't know how) to make the nic cards a different priority?
Just wanted to add.. That by doing what I mentioned above shows my IP address that I want under "Your IP address" with the little WORLD Icon.. I assume that is the one that broadcasts onto the Connection Web Server list.. Is there a way to change that by default? Other than Bind to IP..
As stated before I have successfully bound to the IP i want to use, but it shows it incorrectly in the Web Server List when you clik on connect..
It shows 38.144.82.110
But I want 38.144.82.108 to be the one..

hi,
udp socket is not bound to the boundip.
its a bug.
fixed with server version 2.0.19.42
will be avaible end of week.
(developer section)
Awsome Thanks for the quick responce. and one last thing.. How do I download from the developer section??
scratch that found it.. :) just dont know what version is currently up there, just says Server_windows.. Guess I"ll have to install to find out.. Ok i'm really borred waiting for my Star Wars Galaxies subscription to come through.. :(
I currently have 2.0.19.42 running, but it didn't help... Do i have to change something in the ini file to make the UDP port bind to the Bound IP?
Thanks

Binding to all IPs should be the default behavior.

yeah i got that precious pieve of info already. thanx anyway :)
Ok, trying to get some help here with this thread..
How come I set the default IP to 38.144.82.108 which teamspeak does work in.. But when doing a teamspeak search in the browswer, it finds my 2nd nic card as the host which is 38.144.82.110 .. When people click on the link in the Web Server List, it wont connect cause it's showing the wrong IP.
I have to go into the server, shut down the nic 110 and then do re-detect IP's so it finds 108 then I select the little globe icon. Then I restart the 110..
THIS is the only way I can get the web server list to show the correct IP that Teamspeak is running on.
Is there anyother way around this? I even tried the version that the dev mentioned above and it didn't help.

Hi xbones!
BTW: this is the Linux server forum...!
Could it be, that .110 ist your first LAN-connection? Maybe that's the point?
I'm a bit confused - do you have 2 internet connections? And what's with the 38. IPs?
For the LAN are two networks reserved: 192.168.x.x and 10.x.x.x.
All others are external (internet) IPs. So if 38.x.x.108 is you internel IP, it shouldn't be shown on the web site, anyway!
If it's an external IP (it looks so to me), bind your server to the internal IP of that nic.
I don't know if this really works, and actually I'm not familiar with the webpost thing, but this is the way I would do it!

I have one computer, with two nic cards inside it, and a different IP address assigned to each one. I dont know how to make one nic card primary over the other in windows 2000 if you are saying that is a solution?

Thanx for not answering my questions! And telling something I allready know, instead!
O.K., from the beginning. Please tell me, how are you connected to the internet?
What is connected to the nic cards?
Maybe, one is for the internet connection and the other is connected to a local network (LAN)?
Do you have a dial-up internet connection(DSL, Cabel,...), or are you permanent connected?
Please, it's important!
Anyway, your nic cards are connected to the same network! That doesn't make sense!
