what kind of microphone/ card would work?

Would an Avance AC97 audio card allow me to use teamspeak? And would a Plantronics .Audio 10 PC microphone work with teamspeak? If not could you reccomend a different brand/make i could get that WOULD work, thanks in advance.

I've had probs. with AC97, but mine works fine with TS.

First, download and install the latest drivers from Realtek at:

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloads1-3.aspx?software=True&compamodel=ALC650

Secondly, I don't know about the Plantronics headset, but I bought a decent headset from Best Buy for a little over $20, and it works great.

Also, for team8's accessability to headsets, RadioShack is a great deal. Lots of sales all the time, and they're EVERYWHERE. Mine was $15, works awesome, looks cool, and the boom mic is infinately adjustable. Worth a look.
