Sound not being in sync?

I have been using TS2 for as long as it has been out there, on Win2k, playing CS. Some time ago I decided to change OS to WinXP because most new tournaments use WinXP pro SP1. The thing is that the ingame sound in CS gradually goes out of sync from left-right. After about one hour the sound is all messy and I can't figure out where people are coming from anymore.

I have tried two different driver versions but I get the same problem. Any suggestions?

And yes, sound works fine without TS2 running.


*edit - I just installed kX drivers and I still get the same problem.

what do you mean with "out of sync from left-right." ?

The sound in the right speaker comes a little later than it should, and it gets worse all the time, from barely noticable to very annoying in 40 mins.

But it seemes to have fixed the problem going from direct sound to wave.
