Problem With Microphone

Hey,

I got this wierd problem recently. Basically when I join our ts channel I can hear other people just fine but others can't hear me until I run the sound testing thing in the control panel (running finnish version of windows so not sure of the english name of it).

My mic should work just fine because it works when I allow the sound from my mic to go through my headphones. TS works just fine too, but only after I run the sound testing thingie in control panel.

It might be because it is enabling mic boost. You might have to enable mic boost manually.

That's what I thought too but with my creative fatality titanium x-fi (or something like that) sound card there seems to be no way to turn it on. However after toying around with all sorts of settings I just tested this today and it worked fine without running the sound check.

Make sure to shut down your pc properly so the settings can be saved then or it will just reset.

Microphone problem, How to make your microphone playback realtime?
My MIDI Music Playback is : Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth.
When speaking into your microphone is it not a standard that what your said is playedback realtime or is there an option I must edit

Could you try to explain a little more.

You are trying to get what you hear to play into the mic or are you talking about hearing what the mic pics up?

Or are you talking about lag? Like you say something, and then brief seconds later they hear it?
