Hi

I am using a netgear 834G router and I am having issues trying to set up my TS server.

I have opened all the relevent ports on my router but when I am testing which ports are open using :
http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
or even
PFPortChecker

none of my ports are open. None atall???

I have checked my all the firewall settings on my router and I have defo opened up all the right ports and I have checked all my software based firewalls (XP's and AVG) and they are set up correctly as well. (I have even unistalled all firewall software)

Just seems strange that none of the ports are showing open..even the common ones.

PS

I have also checked with my ISP and they are telling me there is no restriction on what ports are open

ANy help would be appreciated.

If you are opening up the ports, and they aren't opening then i'd say it's a router problem. Have you tried a different router or perhaps a hardwire connect from your pc to the modem?

Full screenshot please. I feel you've set it up in trigger port instead of forward port.

Ok

It seemed to have been a router issue.

I have just tried another 834GT I had and set up the ports and all seems open and working fine.

Thanks for the help:cool:
