Hello. I mailed my hosting company, and the redirected my teamspeak IP to ts.euroepanva.info. But I can't login, cause' we don't have the default port, we have 9109.

This is what they wrote:

Hi there,

We have now created an A record to point ts.europeanva.info to 205.177.2.4 (at the DNS level you can not redirect to ports, just ip addresses)

Scince that's done, when I try to connect to ts.europeanva.info:9109 I get the error message. Same thing if I just try to connecto to ts.europeanva.info. What should I do?

... A record ... ts.europeanva.info to 205.177.2.4 ... ts.europeanva.info:9109 ...

ok assuming yours IP is still same and correct. same goes for port. I expect the server is running all the time even now.

I was unable to connect. problem could be:
modem/router - portforwards
modem/router - firewall
TeamSpeak server PC - firewall

ONLY if you will be unable to find the problem by urself
so check what IP does have the PC with teamspeak server{post/screenshot}
screenshot of portforwards [if any]
how you are connected? Ethernet cable, ADSL, UPC, ...., wifi, ....
if you have some device which shares the internet either PC or modem/router what name and type is it??
WAN IP??
if you dont want to you can PM me those infos.

EDIT>
as for your hosting reply its absolutely correct. and I checked its working. and yes you cant do portredirect with DNS. newer.

EDIT2>
I did some more dig in the matter its somehow weird looks like your [internet]WAN IP is unreachable. and even more weird is that the tracert/ping does loop between 2 ips instead of reaching you .... was yours pc online at time of this post??
