solution to strange massive static

If you have TS2(RC2) on, and then start a game, it will sometimes (I have not tested enough to discover exactly which games, etc.) cause massive screechy static to be blasted out to everyone else.

If this happens, just go to the options and switch from wav to directsound or directsound to wav and hit apply and it will take care of it.

Like I said, I have not tested a lot.

I know it happens on my SB Live! Gamer card & XP (all latest everything).

HOW DO YOU FIX THAT! I do what you said and the static keeps coming back i checke dthe faq and ifoudn npthing on that how do you fix it :confused: :confused:

1) don't use voice activation, instead use a button to speak
2) use high process prio for TS (can be set in TS options)

can be a SB driver issue as well. Especially SB has showed that they write horrible drivers (mainly in use with XP).
