Belkin Router + TS2

Hello, i was wondering if anyone knows how i can get onto TS servers? i just cant get on and i think its because of my router. I have turned of WINXP's firewall and still cannot get on.

If anyone knows what the Trigger and Public ports are and if they are UDP or TCP can u please reply!

As long as you are just using the client and dont want to host a TS2 server you will not have to change anything on your router. Teamspeak Client finds its way through the router by itself.

What kind of error do you get? If it is something about bad response or similar you might want to check if you are really using the latest (TS2 RC2) client. Also try to connect to different servers to get more accurate information about your problems.

TS2 uses UDP for the voice communication. I guess it uses randomly choosen ports above 1024 for the transmition.

As Judas wrote, the TS client does usualy not need any reconfiguration of routers. Problably your Firewall (XP) or a very restrictive packet filter on the router could be the problem.

Or you use the wrong client version on the wrong server (TS2 RC1 and TS2 RC2 are NOT compatible !)
