Hi,
I've been using the record option on TS, but since it saves big wav files, i started looking for better ways.

I tried searching every forum about TeamSpeak and found nothing!
I tried to record usng some Radio based recording programs: Xcorder and Scanner Recorder. The good thing is that they stop recording automatically when no one is speaking. But, TS voices and recorder voice, are recorded in diferrent volumes.

So I come here to ask you guys if there is a way or plugin or even another 3rd party software that can record TS in a better way and to MP3, AAC, OGG or other encoder.

Thanks.

There is no plugin you have to use a 3rd party program.

Have you tried this?
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Thanks for your answer.
But it didnt work. You can only record the microfone or the stereo mix, not both at the same time.
I tried to configure to record from both (on Realtek mixer options). But then when I speak in TS people hear what im listening too.
I think its because both TS and Audacity uses the Realtek input/output configuration. I need to find a program that have an apart configurator for this.

Anyone ?

I think what was trying to be said was use audacity to convert the .wav to a mp3.

Converting is not what im looking for.
Because when I record with TS, we usually speak for about 3-5h, creating a wave file of 3GB size. Thats too much, and to convert 5 hours of sound to mp3 takes a long time.

Thats why Im looking for some plugin or 3rd party soft that could do the same TS does, but directly saving to an encoded format.

Thanks

totalrecorder.com They have want you want. There is a commandline version also. Records mic and playback at the sametime.

It is not free software. But if you do not mind some noise being added every 60 seconds you can use it as an evaluation.

I do not like to post this much as the command line has potential for other uses that the devs do not like.
