The point of a bump is get your thread 'bumped' to the top so people can read it. This is the case when a forum is extremely active and new topics are posted continuously. So you say bump on your thread that's been pushed down toward the bottom or even 2nd page so that people will be exposed to it again and get more readers. Bumping on a slow forum like this make you seem impatient and desperate.

I did a quick google for it the first time i read your post and i couldn't find anything so i didn't answer.
