Whenever I transmitt at the same time as someone else I get loud noisy feedback of my own audio into my headset.

It wasnt like this until a few months back, then everything worked fine and dandy.

Whats gone wrong?

It sounds like you're just hearing yourself through someone else's speakers. Works like this:

You transmit your voice -> comes out their speakers -> Goes into their mic and transmits -> comes back to your headset.

Which you can't do anything about. They need to turn there speakers down or something so you don't get that loop.

Are you the only one that hears it?

Does it only happen with certain people or is it for everyone.

I experience this with one person only on the ts server.

He doesnt use anything else than a headset at his computer - so no loudspeakers involved either.

It could be something with his setup. Depends how loud he is playing sounds and how close his mic is to the output.

how close mic to speakers/headset yea why not.

you know if you are hearing yourself from his side problem it will be most likely with delay around 3seconds or so in current teamspeak.

either if it is because of your audio or his audio try to move down a volume for microphone at Volume Control (Volume manager recording devices) it shouldnt affect the Voice Activation Level much and you will be not so lound in teamspeak "communicé".
that should make mic less catching its surroindings
