Hi,
for quite a while I am fighting with a serious problem with TS2 RC1. I use TS when I play Tactical Ops and I've noticed that Tacticals Ops FPS get incredibly choopy when I have TS running, even though I don't speak nor anyone else on TS.
I found out that the problem gets even worse when I set Low Latency in TS options, then the game is completelly unplayable.

On my computer I laso have integrated audio card. I decided to enable this integrated audio, installed drivers and now I use this new card for TS sound input. For output I still use the SB live card. And finally, the problem disappeared.

I have most recent drivers for SB Live and I even tried installing older SB live drivers, without no effect. I have DirectX 9, CPU 1,1Ghz Celeron, MB Abit VT6X4 and 384MB RAM .

Does anyone else came over this problem?

Thanks for any suggestions,
regards

you're talking about a sb live and winxp... why don't you read the faq...
I bet this is a driver-issue again... nearly all creative drivers suck, so just use those of the kxproject. I myself have to use them because I experience stupid problems whenever I use creative drivers...

so change your drivers and have fun forever :)

Sorry, I didn't find this question in FAQ. I shall definitely try the drivers from KX-project, but I heard that EAX is not supported by KX drivers and I like the surround mixer in Creative drivers. There must be some more subtle solution to this :( Nevertheless thanks very much, hope it will help..

I tried the newest KX-drivers and the sound in Tactical Ops seems to be bit too rusty, sounds much worse than with creative drivers. But the slowdowns are gone.. Do you know hat could be causing these faul sounds?
