I'm automaticly put into Mute Microphone mode when I log on. [Archive]

I have just started to experience a problem with my Teamspeak 2 client. Whenever I try to log onto TS I get this message: "WaveInGetDevCaps Specified device identifier is out of range" now I have no Idea what this means, but I've checked my sound device and from what I can see, my PC doesnt identify my microphone though I it's plugged in correctly and I can hear it. I've tried a diffrent Mic and I still get the same thing. No matter what i do it gives me the message "WaveInGetDevCaps Specified device identifier is out of range".

So if anyone knows what to do I would be so thankfull, if you could tell me.

In ts settings, try switch from Wave to direct sound.

If that doesn't work, make sure you have the latest updates for your sound card.
