I have a clan that I use QuickConnect to get on their TS.

It's worked fine for a few weeks.

Today I went on, nothing changed on my end, and I get the 'Bad name/password' error.

No login or password has ever been required, and the admins tell me (through in-game chat) that nothing has changed on their server.

They asked me if I had Vista, and I said yes. They said I need to do something to get it working on my end. I tried running TS Client as administrator, but no difference.

I don't understand why it would suddenly stop working.

Any thoughts?

If you are registered on the server, all i can say is re-type in the information. Make sure Caps lock isn't on.

You may also try to use the connect instead of quick connect.

Try connecting without a username and password. If that works, then either the information you are entering for the password/username is wrong, or it no longer exists.

There are no login or password required. It's open. That's what I don't understand.

Did you try using the connect feature instead of the quick connect?

Indeed, I did try the regular Connect feature.

I rebooted.

I tried both Quick Connect and Connect.

Then I tried Connect, as Anonymous, and now it works.

Thanks for all of your suggestions...I appreciate the help!
