hey i have a problem whereby my microphone will not work with the Teamspeak 2 client. i have SigmaTel High definition audio codec running as my sound driver and have updated it to the very latest version. I have tryed changing every setting in the TS options from wave (microphoneline in) to direct sound (microphone line in and primary sound card driver) but no sound will come out at all and the green light will not light up at all. The thing is my microphone works with all other applications, (sound recorder, ventrillo) so its not that and before i updated my sound driver it did work with T.S but now it doesnt. And i no i cannot install the previous driver version as it screws my computer up big time. Has anyone got any ideas of how i can fix this problem?
any help would be much appreciated thanks alot.

Is the channel moderated?

USB or 3.5mm plug thingies

It is a 3.5mm jack one not uscand the channel isn't moderated and the mic won't even work in test mode i just don't understand why my mic works with all other applications just not teamspeak. I've tried a different mic aswell still no luck :(

Vista + push to talk = right click , run as admin.

Does the green light lite up when you do a local test mode? I'm guessing a driver problem with TS2 but i'm not sure. There is a guy with the same problem that made a thread a couple days ago. No solution yet.

Did you try searching a little?

agreed with ZeroTKA ... search

can you screenshot(or just check and change) in teamspeak >> Settings >> Options what device you have selected as input one?
try switch direct , wave
