usb mic probs

i bought the steelseries 5hv2 usb headphones, when i use the normal jacks green and orange ts works perfectly, but when i try using it through usb port ts mic doesn't work, works in msn and sound record in windows...so the mic works, even changed in ts2 option,the input device to the usb headphone device....any1....

Does it give you an error or does it not pickup any sound?

Have you tried restarting ts after applying the settings.

i figured it out, needed to go setting options, input device usb headphone...and output device primary sound driver...and it works, but i think i needed to restart TS...tnx anyway

there is some bug here surely, i formatted my hard drive and used the same settings and now it doesn't work again :S

Yea, same with me. My usb headset doesn't work after I reformatted and it worked before the reformat.

and now you installed the latest

HI,
I have the Sandberg USB headset and I have exactly the same problem as you.
It works OK on Windows using the mic test and I can Hear myself in the headset so the mic is working OK.
Also I can hear other players when on Teamspeak but cannot talk to them.
Either we are all doing the same thing wrong or there is a bug in TS2 that is only triggered by USB mics.
Can anyone here help?
