Growing Frustration

I don't know what the issue issue is but my registration on the server I am attempting to listen to keeps getting removed. A staff member came on the air and threatened to ban me if I didn't follow the registration instructions and get it right. In fact, I did follow the instructions EXACTLY each and every time and each time, my registration was removed. An announcement states that registration will only have to be done once. Well, I did it THREE times and now I am being threatened with a ban from the server. I am not a computer expert but, I'm also not an idiot. I know how to read and follow instructions. The registration process is quite simple. Something is not working right and it is getting frustrating. What is going on? The server I am attempting to register with is radio.scannerbuff.net:8767.

you are kind of in the wrong place asking this question here. We (as in the people making teamspeak) do not operate the servers out there, and we certainly do not make the "rules" for any servers, so you will have to take your questions to the owners of that server you talked about. Maybe ask somebody with SA on the server if he can help you, because the chances that somebody that frequents that particular server is also going to read your post here and reply are very slim.

I assume you have meant reading whole description of channel there right?

You we banned because you refused to register. You told me personally that you would not comply with our simple requirement that you provide your idendity. Coming here to complain solves what for you? Your IP is still banned for being a trouble maker. You do not have a *right* to use our server. I own it. It is open to the public. We do not charge. But we do require a valid email address. Teamspeak has a Ban IP feature for a reason.

I respectfully ask the Moderator to close this thread. IMHO, it has no place here to begin with.

its not for me. I just wanted to pass the info. when you are at it you might clarify where they should turn to when they have troubles. as for verify having my IP(in my case) is good enought if you ask me.
The main thing is that if someone dont get it cleary ... (wasnt my case the reason why I didnt re-reg with mail was because its bother-some when I wanna just pass a stupid PM to you and dont need to be registered at all) ... that he can have ability to find the solution in simple way. yea I didnt looked at pic's there marked as steps, I did noticed the detail I qouted here.

The main thing is the attitude I have seen there. Yea I get it you hardly get some money back loots of complains for sound quality and stuff. But we all know everything isn't simple.

as for request close I agree but usually on other forums the requirement is that thread starter want to close it.

The reason I posted this thread here is because I was unable to contact anyone at the server. I realize this forum does not deal with individual servers. I just thought maybe someone would have an idea why my registration was not working. I am not a trouble maker, I will gladly comply with the registration requirements, it's not a big deal at all. I'm thinking maybe KrazyBob is the person who was monitoring registrations at the time I was having problems. I was attempting to register as West45. I was following the instructions to the letter, including using a valid, full and complete email address. The response I got from KrazyBob was that I was trying to register using something other than a valid email address. That is simply not true. That's why I wonder if there was a problem with my registration not showing up properly.

KrazyBob, while you were giving me instructions, I was looking for a way to send you a message stating that I was following instructions and it was not working for some reason. I understand your frustration with somebody who can't follow the simple registration process but, I was getting frustrated also because I was following the instructions fully and completely and it still wasn't working. Like I said earlier, I don't know why that would be the case, I don't know what was happening. That's why I came here, to see if anyone had any ideas or suggestions for a solution.

All I want to do is register with the server so I can listen to the channels I have listened to before without any problem. Again, I am not trying to be a troublemaker or get around the registration process. I just want to have a successful registration.

idk why but I felt like the sound quality was much cleaner than over this TS. maybe they run with
CB---speakers ::air:: mic---TS

Your insults of our quality are spiteful and inappropriate. Just as your negative comments regarding a professionlly built web site. You're ticked because you got banned and choose to use your 650 post status here as a reason to be rude and try to get away with it. Geof had no trouble reaching us and he was polite. Perhaps your own arrogance caused you to be unhappy. Coming onto ANY TSS server and demanding voice is inappropriate for any reason.

We feed directly using professional radios connected as required. At the moment we are listing to low power walkie-talkies 30 miles way from the largest fire in Los Angeles history. Because of the distance they are scratchy. That's how radio works.

I am sure that the Moderator and Administrator here don't appreciate this thread. If you have further comments you have been directed to our forums. You are posting here just to get even for getting the boot.

I hardly think we're using inferior hardware or improper connections.
