Feedback problem

I get feed back in TS RC2 and they also occure in the loopback/self test thingie. I have a Hercules Gamesurround Muse 5.1 withthe latest drivers available, and mic booster on. the old TS RC1 worked fine, but not the TS RC2..... Why is this????

Are you sure that all your settings are correct, that you dont per any chance have a webcam which is used for recording, that your mic isnt picking up the sound from the speakers?

Doublecheck your record settings. Just post again if nothing of the above does help.

Nope, no web cam here... But I do have a Wireless broadband router, could this be the problem??? My headset is brand new so I do not think that the headset is the problem..... I'm beginning to think that TS might be uncompatible with my comp..... :D

Hehe.. dont think that teamspeak is incompatible with your system. The chances for this are very slim and most people who have problems with hearing themselves have faulty settings for recording.

You wireless router surely doesnt cause the problem either. I rather suspect that your soundcard is set to record a mixed stream of whatever is played instead of microphone only. Make sure that the microphone is the only selected source for recording. Additionally, mute the output of the microphone to prevent your soundcard from playing back what is recorded.

This should do the trick.
