View Full Version : TCPQUERY Problem
Hi
I'm trying to add a server to my TS2 via the TCPQUERY.
The telnet looks like this:
--
slogin superadmin MYPASSWORD
OK
serveradd 8888
ERROR, unable to initialize server
--
sl
8767 (Server running)
8768 (Server running)
0 (???)
---
And in the server.log I get this:
---
30-03-03 17:04:25,ERROR,All,SERVER, unable to register server
---
Anyone know what to do about this problem?
I'm running it on a RedHat 8.0 (glibc-2.2.93-5)

sorry, I don't know much about this, but did you try another port???
Yep, I tried many ports, but none works.
And there were no other servers listening at the same port, so that can't be the problem.

I've also just tried on another server and it gives me the same error...
Can somebody try to add a server through THEIR TS2-tcpquery and see if that works? Must have some proof if it is me who is screwing up or the interface just doesn't work :)

OK, du benutzt eine Server-Version, die nicht meht ganz auf dem aktuellen Stand ist... geh mal unter:
http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3854

lol, sorry... I forgot that this is the English forum *oups*
Translation:
You're using an old TS-Version, which doesn't support as many bugfixes as the following developer release:
ftp://dbd1.mine.nu/developer/server/b22_server_linux
I can use the function without any problems...

PS: sorry again, perhaps I just was so happy about my 400th post that I forgot which language I should use :)
It's alright.
As I wrote I do understand German (Living in Denmark and have had German in school :) )so I figured out what to do and it worked like a charm.
