Hey,
recently i've been having this problem where I'd playing sof2 w/ my team all fine n dandy, then my TS sound just disappears. I don't hear anyone.
If i reconnect after I notice theres no sound, i dont get the "conencted to server" notifications either. Also the same when I reload the entire app. Basically i have to reboot jsut to regain use of TS2. It's like all the ts sounds just unload
System:
Win2k sp3 all the updates
sb audigy platinum
Anyone have this problem, or know how to fix it ?
Have you set your sound input to wave instead of direct sound?
Comparable issues arise on certain system when you put them on direct sound.

might also be a soundcard-issue... perhaps read the faq if wave doesn't help...

yeah Im using the wav driver instead of direct sound
this didnt happen back in ts1
Anyone else experiencing this problem under a win2k sb audigy box ?
Well since you are using a SB soundcard you might give the kx drivers a try (www.kxproject.com).
Thats what SatanClaus tried to point you at by telling you to read the FAQ. You will find all the information you need there. If you wont, there is still the serach function which should wield a great variety of results when using "Audigy".

Why is this version of TS having so many problems with Sound
Blaster Live Cards? This is a very common card and should not be having all these issues.
If this is a driver problem then why is only showing up when using the latest version of TS?
More options = higher driver usage
Higher driver usage + poorly written driver software = problems.
You could say the same about almost every driver for popular cards, once newer more robust programs come out they start having more and more problems. It's not the program but the lack of update to the drivers.

I had a lot of other problems with my SB Live! card... so it's not even only TeamSpeak which causes any problems, it was basically every sound which was played...
So since I changed drivers to kxproject driver, I didn't exerience one problem at all, just a few tricky settings...

I installed the KX drivers. I liked the options but could get it to work the TS. Tried all the setting and nothing. Anyone with a SB Live with any input, toss some help this way...
@ SatanClaus
you could once write a FAQ "how to install and conf the KX driver" :D

I sort of did...
just install your kx-drivers, then double-click your kX-icon in your systray...

I think that are good settings to start with.
but ok, I'll ask Niels for permission to write a faq...
btw: I attached my settings, so you can also right-click your tray-icon, go to settings and load my settings...

Thank you, I'll give it a (second) try. The first one was not succesfull. Driver worked, but I could not get the micro to run (ok, I only tested around 5 - 10 min. :D
PS: why do you think I have a bad day (post:http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=20459#post20459). To be honest: the day could be better :-)
