Hi all,

I know that Audigy cards have been discussed before, but not the ex.

I have read prob all threads regarding issues, but my problem is still as yet to be answered.

I have installed the drivers from the CD that I had with the card, and this didn't work, as per thread

http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2304

Also the Kx Drivers that it also suggests do not as yet support the Ex. So I haven't even bothered to install these.

I have checked the recording source, and it is set to Line1/Mic. So that is not the problem.

I have used the internal diag and am able to hear myself on all available codecs.

Please please help me!! I'm desperate and my team is desperate to hear my sarcastic voice again!!

Thanks in advance

by the way:
WHAT is your problem ?
you give us a lot of things you have done, things you suggest,... but a problem description, I'm missing.

The problem is defening static for fellow team mates, and an inability to hear my wonderful voice.

Don't know if you have already tested:

- try WAVE or DIRECT sound in TS
- set process prio to high
- check if you're having high packet loss
- new SB drivers / Direct X

- If you have the chance, test a different Sound Card, maybe from a friend

Of curse we can not blame only SB for this prob, but it's a fact that various SB drivers are a shame.
With my Audigy player I experience static (what ever you understand exactly under static) sometimes too, but only when my connection is at it's limit (=> too high codec, too much traffic,..). I have realy no reason to blame TS for that and I have a feeling, you don't have too....
