View Full Version : Registered user changing password -- how?
While the answer may be buried here, I haven't found it searching yet.
There is a privilege available to registered users to permit them to change their password. I can find no way for them to do so via the client. Is it possible to do or is it something that they can do only via the web interface? If it is possible, how is it done?
Thanks,
-r
As far as I am aware, registered users can't change their passwords themselves up to now. If I am not completely missguided though, it is planed to allow them to do exactly that in a further version. I think that I have read a thread where this option was mentioned with a quite high priority.

This is a still open unassigned feature request in mantis.
So it is unknown when it will come.
I would think when it comes zou would need to upgrade both the client and the server.

this will be implemented in one of the upcoming releases, but only after a protocol change (as there need to be flags on "who's allowed to change whose passwords"...) This means: you need to upgrade client and server.
