When we run a room with multiple channels open we have a serious problem with sound quality. This happens when just one extra channel is activated. Any ideas?

When we create new channels within the main teamspeak client the sound quality goes to pot. Noticeably worse in the channels we just created. Does that help?

haha, I guess, no I even bet, you used a different codec for the other channels... (when you create a channel, make sure that you select the Codec (GSM is best) you want :) )
