Would it be possible for Channel Commander transmission to have some kind of tone when the transmission starts? Same for whispers. It's impossible right now to determine what transmissions are Channel Commander transmissions and which are whispers from the rest of the general traffic. It makes it impossible to respond appropriately.
Example: Channel Commander on another sub-channel asks a question - you need to respond with the Push-to-talk key for Channel Commanders - but if you don't realize the transmission was from a channel commander, you might answer on the regular push-to-talk and the person will never hear the answer as they are on a different sub-channal. Same example for a whisper. You need to recognize a whisper so it can be responded to with the whisper push-to-talk key.
A short tone for each would solve the problem. Each tone should be unique to channel commander or whisper.

Also one another subject, due to the nature of channel commanders, since their transmissions are usually team leaders/squad commanders etc.. their transmissions should take priority over other communications. It would be nice if when channel commander transmissions are made, they mute all non channel commander traffic until the transmission is over. That way you are sure to hear the channel commander transmissions over other traffic. i.e. Channel Commander transmissions "always on top" of other traffic.

These two changes would greatly improve the use of teamspeak in multi-player team games. Thanks!

This second suggestion would be great for me. My clan has just tried to get more organised by breaking down the channel into sub-channels, and using channel commander mode. However as soon as 2 people are talking at once you can't understand either.

If an automatic channel mute during whispers from other channel commanders wouldn't work, how about allowing us a keybind to mute the current channel (while still allowing whispers)

can i re-awaken this topic and ask if there is a way to do this second suggestion.

when channel commanders are talking (via a whisper to channel commanders) is there any way that non-channel commander chatter in your current channel can be muted?

i have seen the question asked but never answered... is there a way to do it?
