I have used both TeamSpeak and Roger Wilco for my gaming team..

I like Teamspeak better..

One feature that I like about Roger Wilco though is that if the person that is hosting the server happens to lose his connection the next person that connected takes over as the host..

This is very important in game match play becasue IF the host goes down the rest of the team is done for..

Is the new 2.0 gonna have a server and client release or is it one program?

I would really love to see this implamented in on the fail over.....

Separate client and server. Failover like that would be hard. The next best thing would be to have a backup server with a well-known name.

I'd suggesting using SRV records to automatically pick the "best" server with a given name. If one goes down, you reconnect, find the best one down, and connect to the next one in the list. But this could also be done with a separate "backup server" setting in the client.
