is it possible to run two seperate instances of Teamspeak at the same time?

Ive tried installing them to different directories so I have two seperate icons but cant get them to both run at the same time.

If anyone has messed around with this or know what reg settings i need to change to get this to work, IF at all possible that would be great.

Thanks

hi

You want to be in 2 clients at the same time ? There has been questions how to use TS and CS voice tool at the same time, but as far as I know no "real" solution (I still can't get why people want to be in more then one voice client at the same time ??). You could do a serach for that in this forum.

What I get from these threads:
- With only one micro (one recording source) you will have no chance.
- Setting up more then one recording source, will be difficult and will need a lot of testing,...

Im the admin for our group where we have ALOT of members. I get some whacky requests out of TS :)

Im not entirely sure why this person wants to run two Apps of Teamspeak at the same time myself. He has two sound cards with two mikes. He has his GAME come out of his speakers and has teamspeak and the MIC coming out of the other into his headphones.

Thanks for your input. :)

Ok :-)

I'm sorry to be not more helpful. But as far a I know, there is no supported solution for this => testing, testing,...

You can use an instance of TS 1.05 and TS2 RC2 simultaneously and can listen to/communicate with both channels. It is kind of nifty.

You can run multiple servers off of 1 box. There is a thread somewhere in the General Forum on setup.

Well,

as far as I know there is a compiler switch that disables multiple clients. They are enabled in some of the *testing* clients though...
