Transmitting problems

Hi there.

Would anyone know why I have to keep switching between wave and direct sound in my options menu, so that I can keep transmitting? I've looked back through past post, and didn't see this one addressed. I apologize if this problem has been previously posted and corrected. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

No, never read about somthing like that... ??
you have to switch (Direct/Wave) during the use off TS ? Every 5 min, 1 h,... ?
Or do you need to switch for certain games ?

I just tried reinstalling, again...seems to be working ok now.

The problem was occuring about every 5-10 mins. My mic would just stop transmitting, and I would either have to restart TS, or switch from Direct Sound to Wave, or the Wave to Direct Sound. I could still hear everything when my mic was not working. I am using Win98 and my sound is coming from a Via PCI Audio Controller. Not sure what other information you may need to diagnose this problem, but like I said, since the reinstall it seems to be ok...for now.

Thanks for the help and I'll repost if I encounter any other problems.
