can't hear clearly when >1 user talks

i can hear clearly when only 1 person talks.
but if 2 persons do so at the same time. i can't hear both of them at all.

i have to mute one to hear the other.

is that normal ?

Depending on the codec this is quite normal, yes.

Unless the server is using a GSM codec you will have a hard time understanding multiple people talking at the same time. With the GSM you will most of the time understand 2 people talking simultanously but no way to understand 3 at a time.

Higher codecs help, but every voice-com tool struggles with that problem unless bandwidh can be ignored (which is hardly the case when you want to play games besides.)

Unless you have 10mgb/s which I have only I don't know how to set up a personal server.
