Hi , i run a teamspeak server on a linux server.( rc2)
Runs very good everbody can connect ... except one.
He has windows 2000 and can connect fine to any windows server .
So its no probs with firewall or blocked ports.
But now i saw the post that if i connect to teamspeak server, it first connects to voice.teamspeak.org:80 ( bouncer or something)
Can it have something to do with that ??
Btw i also tested it here at home.
If i run linux teamspeak server he can't connect.
If i run a windows server he can connect.
So its pretty strange.

A friend of mine had the same problem.. I didnt get to many helpful replies.. But He did eventually connect to my Linux server.. But in the process he broke his router..

is ur friend connecting through a router? if so.. Tell him to 1 .. Turn Off all firewalls and 2 connect directly with the internet.. bybass the router ect.. then if he can connect work your way backwards to find out where the problem is..
