Ban by Nick, not by IP

Hi,
it would be nice to be able to ban Nicknames, not the IP's because
redialing the line to get a new IP takes 5 seconds. Registering a new nick on a server with registartion is impossible.

Ahm ok.. but why dont you just delete the registered user?

While that is a solid solution, you can't do that from the client currently (or can you?). It just takes time to log into the server and delete the client.

In anycase, perhaps adding a "delete user" function to the client would be better then a "ban user by nick".

i am maintaining my users-database on mysql and sync it with the ts-database.

so i want to be able to just ban a user.
(i will be able to unban him later)

it's possible to delete users thru the client btw. already

Remove registration - of course!

So, can't you remove the registration on the TS server and then re-sync your database to the TS database when you want to "re-add" the user?

to just be able to ban a nick.

There is a SDK to the GUI - might have to track the bans with a different DB but I bet it wouldn't be too hard to implement. I need to look at those docs a little more closely.

I'm out for a minute (to Best Buy and the Toy Store) but I am going to keep it in mind.
