I think it'd be extremely useful if you could bind different buttons on push to talk to talk to different channels.

i.e. Press "Q" to talk to everyone on "Channel 1" and press "A" to talk to everyone on "Channel 2" all the while being connected to both channels constantly hearing what was happening on those two (or more) channels. Of course there is the master button to talk to everyone.

If this is possible or already spoken about, I apologize. :rolleyes:

Hmm,

its not possible to be connected to multiple channels, where is the point ? Make one channel and get the guys to join !
But, on the positive side, you can make two buttons to talk (whisper) to two different channels (or even more than two). Just check out the Keysettings dialogue !

The point lies in the ability to separate different groups and still keeping the leaders of those groups in a common channel where they can coordinate. It'd be a lot cleaner and a lot more useful, mainly in massively multiplayer first person shooters like PlanetSide.

Funny you should mention planetside :)

They could have had ts tech in the game itself (with all the stuff you would have wanted) but didn't want to do business :)

I even talked to some of those developers on the phone (luckily they called... budgetwise).
