Wierd problem, may be due to new sound card [Archive]

I just bought an SB 5.1 Live sound card and when I use teamspeak it seems to work fine as long as I am not playing SOF2. When I load the game it continues to work fine until actual game play begins. Then my teammates just say that they hear static every time I push my button to speak. As soon as I stop playing then teamspeak starts working normally again. Any ideas? It didnt happen with teamspeak 2 and internal sound, but it is doing it with new sound card and teamspeak RC2. Help!!

are you using WinXP ?
SB Live and WinXP has come in for several probs. You could do a search in this forum.

- try switching in TS from WAVE to Direct or vice versa
- Look for KXproject (search in this forum)
