i need hekp with my server!

i made my own server but im not sure if people can join on the server thing there r 2 ip's on is the 192.168.0.101:8767 and the the other is 68.186.248.60. which one do i tell my friend so he can join.the 192.168.... has a computer on its side and the other has another symbol. help me and try to join my server

can't test your server right now because i am behind a nice corporate firewall but i can tell you that you have to use the 192.168.0.101 if you want to connect from inside yout LAN and the other IP address if your friends want to connect from the internet.

If you have a broadband access, you will be probably behind a router which is doing NAT, IP MASQ,...
Do not forget to forward the port, your TS server is running on (default 8767) to your servers LAN IP !

i gave him the other ip not the 192.168.... one and its said error
then i gave him the 192.168.0.101 ip and i still said error and i was waiting in the room till he came in then he said it had a error.
what do i do?

neither work because:

a) your internal ip (192.168....) is behind your router and is invisible to everyone else.

b) the other ip is your dynamic wan ip assigned to you by your cable provider.

you must sign up with a service that will track your wan ip and assign a domain name to it so peeps can connect to your server.
