Love the software! RC2 is exactly what we were looking for!

I know some people have had trouble with invisible and ghost users because of firewall settings and such, but I was wondering if I could suggest the ability to create invisible users.
I run the server for other people and I don't participate as I don't know most of them. So what I'd like to do is be invisible to them so that I can monitor the voice and text chat just to see how things are going and who's doing what without everybody going "Who's this guy?"

Also in so monitoring, as an administrator it would be cool to be able to monitor all voice and text chat that goes on without the administrator being in the particular channel.

Do these suggestions make any sense and would they be practical for administrators?

Finally is there any chance of a security update to setting permissions on a per user basis instead of groups? in a later version perhaps?

Thanks for everything; great work...

Well,

this feature is already requested, BUT I personaly think that this would be a VERY bad thing to do, as the Users - once, they become aware the SA can always be listening, become paranoid. I personaly would realy _HATE_ it if somebody might be listening secretly while I dont even know im talking to anybody else than this drunk girl. :).
This is basicly a privacy thing...and I definetly think this would go to far.

perhaps an invisible user should only be able to see who's in a channel and all the stuff of the left windows, but he actually shouldn't be able to listen to them until he gets visible.

but I also think that there's no need for invisible users, especially because of that privacy issue.

Yes,

see whos in a channel would be a nice feature for public-servers. You could just add an permission (may peek in other channels, or similar). If this permission is set for you, you can optionaly click on the + before a channel and get the users listed.

At least some kind of latency/packet loss measuring would be cool on the console without having to log on with the client and look at user's properties.
