Hi there...
I use the Windows Server on XP Pro and I use a Router to connect to the Internet. Port forwarding etc is working fine, and I have a dynip service. People can use my server, but it seems, however, that if my ISP disconnects me and assigns a new IP to me (this happens all 24 hours) the server stops working. I still can reach my computer at the dynip address, even after such a disconnect (because the dynip tool reopnes the connection), but after such a disconnect, I can not log in to my TS Server (of course from another computer and another (Internet) IP)
When I got home and right-clicked the server, it still showed the old ip (from Friday), after i relaunched the server everything was fine.
So, how can i automate the server to check for ip updates?
