View Full Version : Server Restarting

Currently I rent a TS server through a gaming host. The gaming host has the superadmin powers and gives all server renters standard admin. I can go in and make server setting changes like webpost urls etc. However, this ability is useless without the ability to restart the server. I make changes then I must send mail to the host to get the server restarted.

Question: Is there a way to restart the server or can a restart command be embedded into the web interface for standard admins to restart the server?

This is quite frustrating, so any help would be appreciated.

Hi!

I'm not sure, but as server admin you should be able to restart your server
through the tcpquery port.

*Edit:* Well, this only works, if your provider doesn't block that port!
