My problem is this: Whenever i talk i get a loop. Easily fixed right? "what you hear" in the mixer panel. Ok, what you hear isn't in my mixer, but i selected the mic as the only recording device. still does it. I got the soundmax AC'97 drivers that i was directed to download from Dell because i haven't found any other drivers for an intel onboard sound card. I even reinstalled Teamspeak2, RC2. Still i get this loop. whatever i hear plays back. i've tried every setting and every configuration and it still transmits anything that i hear. is there something in the TS settings that i'm missing? if so, i'd really love to know. thanks in advance folks. :)

@mueychacha:
do a test with the windwos recorder. As long as you have the problem there as well, it's def. not a TS prob => you will have to deal with sound settings and different drivers.
There is no setting in TS I can remember right now which is related to this.

You could also test the KXdriver (search this board).

@To.Tall:
what is the "sound from the computer self" ?? Your CPU fan noise,... ?

guldi: I couldn't find anything about KXdrivers in this forum so i went to the KX driver homepage and downloaded them, installed them. they worked, but the mixer that was included with them didn't work saying that it couldn't find "kxskin.ksx" but the file is in the same directory as the program.

i went back to the website and downloaded another skin, but it still didn't work, tried renaming the new skin as kxskin.ksx, didn't work. i'm about to reinstall it now, wondering if you had any idea what that was all about
