i have installed Team Speak version 1.05 but when i try to connect it says me "OpenDevice Attempted to open with an unsupported waveform-audio format." and it allow me to connect but not to hear and talk. I have a P2 400,sound blaster 16 PnP, SO Windows Xp. the drivers of the sound card are the ones who come with windows xp because i cant find others.
I have tried to reinstall it but the same error happen.
Please help me

Try using DirectX for in & output and see if that helps..

I have tried and it says me An undetermined error occurred inside the DirectSound subsystem. I dont know what happens when i used w98 it works perfectly and now with xp it gave me errors :/

Try installing the latest Soundcard drivers and see if that helps.. There is some website that list all drivers location... but i forgot it.. mzzz something like www.drivershq.com or so

I have been looking for drivers for my sound card until now and havent find anything, its the only solution? arent there other solutions except to download new drivers?

Well like i suggested try drivershq.com
Also try closing down as many proccesses that are running as possible (without locking up your pc) and see if it works then.. but for the rest i have no idea what could be the problem :(.. it has problem with the soundcard/audio thats as much as i can make out ....
Its not something i've seen before.

Well thats what i love of my computer its unique, its errors are unique i love it :mad: .I think its time to buy a new sound card....

i have the same error message...
unsupported wave-form audio format.
i am using a ess688 sound card....
i have download the latest version of directx and a have an error also with directplay voice option.
i cannot unmuted my mic....???...



it seems like some people as the same problem (cannot unmuted their mic.) but it seems like nobody know the answer because nobody replies...

so if you find a way to resolve your problem please help me back.
