Sup I have been experimenting with Virtual PC until some Mac OS X progress is made. However am I able to talk with virtual PC so far all I can do is listen. Anyone know the reason?

Interesting... I've been doing exactly the same thing today. I can talk until I launch RTCW, then the talking dies. I think in my case it has to do with rtcw hooging all the mac's resources.... though I'm not sure - it shouldn't really on a dual proc machine like mine.

Also make sure you have it set to respond to voice-activation. VPC won't trap keystrokes unless it's the topmost application.

Currently I'm loading it onto my Wallstreet laptop in the hopes that i can run it off there next to the desktop :)

VPC is a totally different program, it doenst respond on your mic anymore if you are in another program. That's why we need the OSX client ;)

Well ok - so i'm running VPC win98 on its own on a wallstreet G3 laptop (yes I know, slow....) and TS is fine for the first few minutes normally, then dies. Doesn't even capture my keystrokes. But go into the voice-recorder app and all's well. To get TS going again though I often need to restart windoze. Ideas?

(btw VPC stays at front the whole time - the game is running on a much more nippy G4 dual 867  )

I know this may be boring for the non-mac people out there, but I think you need to see the lengths we're going to here...... ;)

We really, really need an OS X client, guys. Everyone complains that the Mac is shit for games, BUT THAT'S BECAUSE NO-ONE SUPPORTS THEM!

I too have tried running the PC client on VPC - also without success. So I have to go through the rigmarole of setting up a PC next to my Mac whenever I want to use TeamSpeak.

LET'S HAVE AN OS X CLIENT – PLEASE!!!

Given the post today that the TeamSpeak authors have another Final Candidate release and are hopeful that this is the one means that it is possible that they might begin doing the preliminary investigation soon.

If I'm talking gibberish to you, go back and read the other threads with Mac in the title. They have stated an intention to look into it, but only AFTER the final release of 2.0.

Mac OS X version is on it's way, when the Windows version is done, at the moment the windows version is in RC2, just wait until it is Final then they will start at the Mac version.
