Ok, so I'm probably being very naive here, but how much work can it be to build a simple command line version of team speak for Mac OS X?

What I mean is that, given that GNU/Linux is runnable, what is missing on the GNU/Darwin side to prevent us from compiling it and running?

I don't need a fancy UI, I'd be happy with a 1 line command to get talking to my Shadowbane mates... you have no idea what a pariah I feel without TS :-)

Carbon/Cocoa must also make it pretty easy to hook up sound etc, if its not GNU/Linux based?

Cheers,
Winton

p.s. You guys are clearly doing an amazing job, judging by the demand...

I have also been thinking about that, sounds interesting, I haven't tested anything since I don't know much about Unix/Linux.

Would at least like have the server for Mac OS X, that doesn't have a userinterface anyway, except for the webpage.

And yes you are doing a great job. :)

*sigh* Once more:
First ts2 final. Then mac porting.

And it would require shitloads of work even for a command line client. TS isn't written in C you know.

And the server for the mac: don't want to disapoint you but most likely not gonna happen. As far as I know that is. coders can correct me if i am wrong.

Hi,

Thanks, I was more just curious what the issues were. Its not written in C? So low level sound card machine code involved? I'm surprised that its that low-level? Is it more than UDP packet encoding/decoding and feeding to/from sound i/o?
