First, what TS server are you trying get on. Yours? or another that you have not been on before?
Yours: check your IP and Port specified, 1st try LAN IP connect then WAN IP connect
New: always connect for the first time as Anonymous ( you may have to specify a server password )

Gidday , I dont have any problems with TS2 login , but half my squadron does. we have tried several different approaches to resolve it... I took screen shots of mine to send to them, and no help, they all have the same on their pages.
they have reinstalled the program , and it came up exactly the same error . so I asked them to do a reg clean , and try again, with the same outcome. ( very frustrating ) we have wasted hours of time trying to sort it out.
any other suggestions ? the strange thing , it some did have it working , for a little while, but now they cant connect.
thank you in advance.

Unfortunately the people with the accual problem would have to post for me to decern their problem.
I too have peeps, in the gaming unit to which I belong, that are having problems and so I can say I understand the position you are in.
I can say this, that if some can get on to the server and it works okay? Then it is not the server but the individual client machines that have to correct something.
Things to look at in a Windows envirnment are:
Windows version
DirectX version
TeamSpeak settings
Comm protection Soft/Hardware
ISP Services
SoundCard drivers/firmware
MotherBoard updates (BIOS&Drivers)
Diagnosing the problem for a group of people does not work. To many problems look or act the same but may have differant causes.
Spend the time helping only one at a time and once you step him/her through it, send him/her out to help one or two others.
Choose the person carefully, you are investing your time with him/her hoping they will be around for a while to help you with problems in your peer there fore taking part of the load off you.

thank you, these are members of my squadron, some for 3 yrs now, and the rest have been with us for many months. I havent found any type of difference to any set-ups, they have,,, as I sent them (pic's of my settings), and they all followed thru them.. , but still the same errors, with the exception of a few, and they have no problems , same as me. strange how it affected some , but not all.
ty for your response, I'll see what specifics the have , but didnt hear what , they may have changed to cause the error.
